Getting started with Hub
1. Open your workspace
Use Sign in with your existing Hub account. If you do not have access, contact RodyWorks to arrange a workspace or walkthrough. Authorizing a social channel is a separate step after you enter Hub.
2. Connect a social account
Open Social accounts and choose a platform. For an OAuth connection, Hub sends you to that provider’s authorization screen. Check the account and permissions, then return to Hub. Confirm that the connected channel is the one you intended to manage.
3. Prepare your content
Open Posts, write the caption, choose the connected destinations, and attach the media you want to use. Check each destination’s requirements. Keep unfinished content as a draft rather than scheduling it.
4. Choose when to publish
Choose the publishing time in the post editor and check the displayed time zone. Review the caption, destinations, and media before confirming. A scheduled post still depends on a valid channel connection and the platform accepting the content.
5. Check the outcome
Return to Posts to check the status for each destination. If publishing fails, read the reported error, correct the content or reconnect the channel, and retry deliberately. Avoid creating duplicate posts while a platform is processing a video.
6. Remove a connection
Open Social accounts and use Disconnect for the channel you want to remove. To revoke the authorization at its source, remove Hub from the provider’s connected-app settings too. Published posts remain on the platform unless you delete them there.
Common questions
Does connecting a channel publish anything?
Connecting authorizes supported actions; it does not itself create a post. Prepare and confirm your content in Posts.
Why does a connection need refreshing?
Providers issue credentials with their own expiry and revocation rules. Use Refresh where available, or reconnect the channel if Hub asks you to authorize again.
Why can a platform be connected but publishing still be limited?
Account eligibility, granted permissions, media requirements, app review, and platform processing all affect publishing. Check the integration guide and the specific error before retrying.
How do I request account or data deletion?
Use the account controls when signed in, or follow the public Data deletion instructions. Contact RodyWorks if you cannot access your account.
